How It works

Appruve's Standalone OCR API allows you to extract the Personally identifiable information (PII) from an ID document while performing document analyses to determine if the document is legit or not. The PII data is also verified against the Government issuer database if available.

This is standalone because the ID Confidence Score is computed immediately and does not depended on a selfie image being uploaded for face match scoring. The ID Confidence Score is a number between 0 and 100. The higher the score the greater confidence that the document is legitimate.
