OCR For Sequential Verification

Extract PII data from ID Documents With Document Analyses

How It works

Appruve's Sequential OCR API allows you to extract the Personally identifiable information (PII) from an ID document while performing document analyses to determine if the document is legit or not. The PII data is also verified against the Government issuer database if available.
This process is sequential because the Upload Selfie endpoint needs to be called after this so that the final verification score (Confidence Score) is computed. The Confidence Score is a number between 0 and 100. The higher the score the greater confidence that the Identity of the user is verified.
This API returns a transaction_reference which is a unique ID associated with this verification along with the extracted data. The ID face photo retrieved from the government database or extracted from the ID document is matched against the selfie photo using the transaction_reference.
